Three regular people, right? Right.

Click each below for the story of their life.

His name is “Max Kor”. He’s from Israel.

He was made using Maya and Mental Ray.

No, that doesn’t mean his mother’s name is Maya and his father’s name is Ray. Mental Ray is Autodesk’s high-performance rendering engine for generating photorealistic images. Maya is Autodesk’s integrated 3D modeling, animation, effects, and rendering solution. Combined, they made Max; and many others.

This is a rendering of Song Hye Kyo, the Korean actress. A “rendering“. The person is real, but this isn’t a photograph of her. This was done, entirely, using computer graphics.

Her name and “origins” are unknown, but click the headshot for her story.

And finally, an interesting and amazing work of PhotoShop art. Creatively curious, and as all such things go, slightly PG-13-ish. Ever so slightly, though.
